TO be determined

Project ONE

Choosing a design site

Objective:

To identify the qualities that draw student to potential employer.

Website:

www.ruralrooster.com

Found by google and researching local companies in Austin. After looking through several with unsatisfying result, this is the one I choose.

Reaction:

I did like the colors (black & red) of the website and the graphics used on the background.

Company Speciality:

This company has many areas of speciality which include graphic design and web development. This company screen prints tshirts, creates car decals and paper printed items.

Employment:

NO current job listings. This company gives you the oppurtunity for an internship to get you ready for work in the industry. Interships are twice weekly and can help you build a professional portfolio.

Navigation of SITE:

This site was easy to navigate but found when I was confuse when I got to the colorprinting site and had to navigate back to the main page to find select links.

LIKES:

It was easy to find info on how to get papar print cost estimates. Clear place to go and get more info if needed. Preferred the graphics with stars on the bottom of page for specific job links. I did like the overall design but page is very busy and not sure everyone would like that.

DISLIKES:

I did not like the scrolling bar in the center of the main page.It bothered me I seemed like I was leaning toone side to read info since all pages were not centered.I did get confused on color printing site and had to navigate back to main page to find portfolio page.I did think repetitive buttons on main page that link to sameplace were too much.
